I made these for lunch the other day and thought I'd share. Not so much the wrap recipe, this is your basic turkey wrap with some lettuce, tomato, and sprouts. (The usual suspects of sandwiches.) The secret ingredient that really makes these "pop" is my herb cream cheese spread.
I know I could just as easily go out and buy any variety of flavored cream cheese spreads. But I like making my own. You can put this on toast, bagels, crackers, and all kind of sandwiches or wraps. It super simple to make and adds SO much flavor. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 12 oz container whipped cream cheese spread
1 garlic clove, finely minced
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 Tbs finely chopped fresh chives *optional
Directions:
In a small bowl, combine garlic, Italian seasoning, onion powder, and salt. Add cream cheese and gently fold in the seasoning. Be careful not to over mix; the cream cheese will lose it's fluff. *If using the chives, fold them in now. Cover and let chill in fridge for an hour. (This gives the flavors time to meld.) Stir one more time before serving.
This is how I do it:
Spread 1 to 2 Tbs cream cheese spread on to your wrap. Lay down your lettuce and other veggies of choice. Top with whatever sandwich meat suits your taste. (Or go meatless if that's your thing.) Wrap it up like you would a burrito. (Don't forget to cut it in half so you can see how pretty it is!) And Hello Beautiful! You've got yourself one FANTASTIC dish!

This looks delicious. I love sandwich wraps -- somehow they seem more special than even the most amazing ingredients on two slabs of bread.
